ABOUT THE AUTHOR OF THIS BOOK
Decorated with the accolade of Doctor of Science by the Open International University of Medicina Alternativa, Sri Lanka) for his enviable contribution to the science of physical education, Prof. M.L. Kamlesh (b.1940), M.A. (English), M.Ed. (PE), Ph.D., is a well-acknowledged physical educationist highly specialized in academics, research, sport psychology and management. He has to his credit more than 25 widely circulated books on an assortment of professional subjects. He has published around 70 research papers and 56 articles in national and international journals and periodicals chiefly on educational sport psychology and physical education.
Prof. Kamlesh is former Principal, Laxmibai National College of Physical Education, Trivandrum and former Dean, Faculty of Physical Education, University of Kerala, with 50 years of distinguished career of a teacher. He has been bestowed upon Life-time Achievement Award by (1) Sports Psychology Association of India in 2004 for his scintillating role in the development of sport psychology inside and outside the country; (2) the Alumni Association of Physical Education, Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 2005; (3) University of Delhi in (2011), (4) Punjabi University, Patiala (2012), and (5) Department of Physical Education, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar for outstanding service to physical education and sport as a teacher, a researcher, a scientist and an administrator.
